ECDO 2026 Travel Grants

A limited number of travel grants of €600 are available to support Early Career Researchers intending to attend the conference. These grants may be used to cover travel and accommodation expenses. Awardees will be granted complimentary free of charge registration to the conference. Please note that the Gala Dinner is not included in the travel grant; participants who wish to attend must pay the applicable fee separately via the conference website.

Eligibility

Early Career Researchers, including PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, are eligible to apply. Applicants must register and have submitted an abstract via the conference website. The conference registration fee must not be paid prior to applying for a travel grant. For successful applicants, registration will be provided free of charge and arranged by the conference organizers.

Travel grants are intended to support individuals who would otherwise be unable to attend the congress due to financial constraints. Consequently, grants will not be awarded to applicants who have already paid their registration fee. Applicants are therefore expected to carefully consider and clearly demonstrate their financial need within the application.

How to Apply

Applicants must indicate their interest by selecting “Yes” to the question “Do you wish to apply for a Travel Grant?” during the registration process. Registration and abstract submission must be completed by 15 JUNE 2026. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of the evaluation after 15 June 2026.
